| Evolution of Man and Machine We all know how evolution works, things progress toward 'betterment' at a very slow pace. Often the changes aren't seen unless we step back and have a look at history. My question, today is, which is happening: 1) Man is evolving to be more like machines or 2) Machines are evolving to be more like man |
| In the modern days we have right now, man and machine really made a great relation to each other. I have to say that may people are now in great inventions of machines that will sooner help them in what ever things they will be needing in that area. I hope many people would really love to know much about the machine are I am talking about and the great help it can give to them. |
| "A little bit of both"
Good question Geek Master. At first I thought the right answer to heat query is that machines are evolving to be more like man, but when you consider the other option, it also holds true for the latter. Man's conquest to find better ways to make his life a lot easier, has given birth to the idea of machines performing more like humans. But humans themselves are becoming more like machines in terms of excessively working (beyond their capacity e.g. overtime, being workaholic), becoming soulless (criminals and murderers), and being attune to science and logic. |
| The idea that, figuratively, man and machines are living a great life. Machines are made by man, but in the future these machines are said to be the partner of man today and I really admire the great stuffs made by bright minded man to invent great and useful machines. In the modern days we have, the machines that we are using is now being substituted to man power now. |
| This question is trying to awaken my mind about the high-tech inventions made by man. I think both ideas have their own point. Nothing is wrong inventing those machines because basically they help us achieve convenience in life. On the other hand, men seem to be manipulated by machines instead of them. What awaits men in the future? Do we think we would still be worthy of our special aptitudes? |
| Firstly, I do not believe that evolution of machine to man will ever become a reality as machines are man made and I do not believe that man has the ability to create an intelligence equal with its own. That sort of evolution and creation is seen no where in this universe. Secondly, that man may evolve into a machine, I agree with, but with the exception that it would be a devolution. |
