Every kid who belong to the geek or nerd culture has gone through tough times from being bullied at school or even laughed at for being themselves and expressing what they love. | There are already a lot of young people especially kids who are into geek stuff like using computer, playing computer games, collecting gadgets, and frequent watching movies. Nothing is wrong with that as long as they are given limitations in order not to forget that their education is more important than any other geek stuff. Hence, parental guidance is important for young people. Thank you for sharing the post. |
| I think that I would always rather be called a nerd rather than a geek. A geek usually means that you are doing something to excess and that it spills out into everything you do. Sounds like more of a derogatory term to me, as I do not like going out of sensible moderation. A nerd is simply when you know a lot about a particular thing or about a lot of things in particular. |
