Professionals in fields like science, medicine, law, business and architecture are now using digital products, long popular in newscasts, movies, and advertising, to enhance their organizations. Through multimedia, student pilots run flight simulations, professional trainers create interactive instructional programs architects and engineers create 3-D walk-through designs, law enforcement officials recreate crime scenes to solve cases, and doctors diagnose diseases and develop scenarios to prepare for surgery. In the laboratories and classrooms at Texas State Technical College you can gain hands-on experience in the world of graphics, storyboard and script design, image production, computer animation, advertising design, pre-production planning and postproduction for multimedia.
