Have you guys tried E-bay? You can get some good deals on line. Also try bestbuy.com.

No one in Manila wants to pay the shipping and import taxes!Go to the post office website and see how much it costs to send a 20 lb package from the USA to Manila!

Calm down Ted. E-Bay is not all "online order and shipping" there are also manual exchange or transaction. It is whether to you if you go for the online and shipping purchase or the said manual exchange. Try reading some FAQs and bisit the actual web page before you go "all loco" amigo.ebay.com.ph

Have you tried doing a web search to find what you are looking for? You could also check your local newspaper.
I would try and do a web search like jesse suggested or you could also look on ebay and you could find what you need at a reasonable price.

According to a friend from the Philippines, PC corner is the best and the cheapest supplier of computer hardware and they also have discounts when you would buy in bulk.

I would pay for shipping as long as the product I'm about to get is the perfect one no matter how far it would came from and even if the shipping will cost more than the product itself.

You can find the best deals in computers hardware in the Metro Manila are in Gilmore. There are a lot of shop there that you could choose from. The best thing to do is go to each and every shop in the area and get estimates for you choice and pick which one has the best deal to give.

Why the heck would you ridicule someone for being mad about the shipping charges to other countries, Mr. Net Scourge. The cost of importing stuff is absolutely ridiculous.
I agree. Not only do you have the import taxes and service charges, but also the shipping charges. Unless something is small and a friend can bring it on an airplane you might double to triple the price by the time you get it.

Well, I think a couple of online stores out there offer FREE shipping. You may want to narrow your search criteria to those.Check out http://www.newegg.com and http://www.buy.com/ Hope this helps. • Page 1 (Original Post) • Page 2 (Newest Replies) •
