Monopoly: The Google Initiative

Is it me or is Google starting to monopolize things around the web? First they were just a measly search engine but look at them now, a provider of useful stuff online: operating systems for mobile, e-mail services, and now social networking websites? I do hope that there would still be a healthy competition as it would keep things balanced, not to mention companies will try new innovative technologies which will in the end benefit the online consumers.

People have so many choices on the web, if they all use Google's services it means that Google is doing something right!

If you don't like what you call their monopoly, do something better and the users will flock to you! Use your brain!

When we go to other countries it is really ideal if we have a good access to the internet. at times, most tourist have problem connecting to the internet. As for me, it is important to conduct a research about the good internet service in a particular place prior to the trip. In this way, you are assured of an internet service in there.

Thank you and great day.

Google has been using by most of the online user because of its reliability and quickness in supplying much info in that area. I really want to know much about this area and the things that is seen in this place. I have never been in Maldives and I know that many people would like to know much about that area. I hope I can be there as well .

Starting to monopolize things? They have already taken a monopoly for quite some time now, it is nothing new. They do have a pretty good service in most regards, because they have the resources and the motivation to be the best and biggest company on the web, so as long as that does not change then I am okay with the monopoly. There will always be other companies that provide the same service, I think.

Google started monopolizing things the second they perfected their search algorithm that gave everyone everything they ever wanted. Once that happened then there was no reason for anyone to go anywhere else for there information. After that they figured out a way to make money and from there there has been no turning back!
